Shipping and Returns

General Return and Exchange Guidelines

 

We understand merchandise may need to be returned or exchanged for any number of reasons, that's why we have adopted a headache free returns policy.

A Return Authorization (herein referred to as "RA") is required for all returns and exchanges. Packages with no RA# will be refused. 

All Sales of Breathing Color Products are Governed by our Terms and Conditions of Sale.

 

How to Request a Return or Exchange


> Request a Return for Possible "Defective" Product


Breathing Color does not accept returns of defective product 90 days past delivery.

If you believe you may have a defective product please follow these steps to process a return:

1. Click here to Submit an RA Ticket

2. Please fill out this form in its entirety

You will need the following items to submit a ticket: 

a. Brief description of the issue
b. Invoice number
c. Lot number (if applicable)
d. Additional notes (if applicable)
g. A photo (if applicable)

A Breathing Color representative will contact you within 48 hours.

After reviewing your photos if it is determined that we need to inspect the product further we will email you Fed Ex return labels.  You will need to place these label(s) on the box(es) and give your return to your FedEx driver or drop off at a FedEx Store or FedEx partner location.  Once we have received and inspected your return we will contact you.  If it is determined that your merchandise is defective, we will either send you replacement product(s) or issue you a full refund. Please note that no credit will be issued until the defective merchandise has been returned and inspected. We will refund/replace all merchandise with a demonstrable defect of manufacture. 


 

> Request a Return for "Non-Defective" Product


Breathing Color does not accept returns of non-defective product 30 days past delivery.

All non-defective product returns will incur a 20% restocking fee.  Buyer will be responsible for return shipping. 

If you would like to return non-defective product and accept a 20% restocking fee, please complete the following steps:

2. Please fill out this form in its entirety.

You will need the following items to submit a ticket: 

a. Breif description of the issue
b. Invoice number
c. Additional notes (if applicable)

A Breathing Color representative will contact you within 48 hours of receiving your request to provide you with a return address and RMA number.

Once you receive your RA number, write it on the outside of the package. Once we receive the returned item(s) in its original sellable condition and original packaging we will issue a refund less a 20% restocking fee.  This process may take up to two weeks.

Returned merchandise must be in the original packaging and in new condition to be accepted. Items that are returned not in sellable condition, and/or not inside its original packaging will not be refunded nor returned. This includes all outer cardboard boxes, as well as all labels and wrapping materials used to protect the product. If any of these items are missing, the integrity of the product will be considered compromised and no longer in new condition.

Shipping costs or any other costs incurred to receive the merchandise will not be refunded. Customer is responsible for the arrangement of and paying for any shipping or packaging costs of returning the product to us in its original condition.


 

> Report a Shipping Claim


Damage occurred during shipping must be reported to Breathing Color within 5 days of receiving the order. All packaging materials must be photographed and saved for inspection by carrier.

Recipients of LTL or freight deliveries can choose to:

Refuse delivery due to damage

or

Accept delivery with noted damage

Damage to deliveries by LTL or Freight must be notated on the BOL (Bill Of Lading) and photographed at time of delivery.  Deliveries that are accepted without noting damage on the BOL void the option of future shipping claims.

a. Full name & email address
b. A detailed description of the damage
c. Photos of the effected product & packaging.  
d. All packaging must be preserved for carrier inspection.  Do not discard damaged packaging.
