For polish
Fail to install the correct ICC Profile to accompany your media and all the color correction tricks at your disposal won't give you the results you're aiming for. In our ICC Library you'll find easy-to-follow instructions on how to download the profiles you're looking for and get them installed in under a minute.
What is an ICC Profile?
To put it simply, an ICC Profile is a file that adjusts the color attributes of your printer. These "profiles" signal your computer to modify relevant parameters so your prints come out with exact color and accurate ink load. Imagine you send the exact same file to two different printers models. Due to inherent variations in design, each printer will translate the data from your computer differently. An ICC profile is your interpreter guaranteeing everyone understands each other.
But do I really need one?
Yes. In printing, just as in photography we rely on the consistency of our tools to empower creativity. Without a professionally designed ICC profile your prints will never match what you see in your photo editor. An ICC Profile that matches your BC media is the key to removing color deviation. When your prints are rendered with the exact color they should be we call them "unequivocal".
What makes BC profiling different?
Our Print Technicians are constantly updating our library of profiles. Don't see the profile you're looking for? Professional print studios often charge hundreds of dollars for custom profiles, but Breathing Color is the ONLY inkjet media manufacturer that offers custom profiling absolutely free of charge. Contact our Customer Support team for help with any of your profiling needs. It's amazing what attention to detail and a human touch can do.

This is when the party starts. Send the print and watch your images come to life. Breathing Color media is designed to dry in seconds, but depending on ink load and the climate of your studio you may have to let your prints dry before moving on.
Laminating your metal prints ensures a durable, scratch resistant surface. Quartz Film Laminate is available in three sheens to meet any need. Photo Paper and Fine Art Paper don't need to be coated or laminated, but if you want to experiment Timeless or Glamour 2 can be used on matte papers. Our NO-LAM Canvas comes ready to stretch with a protective coating pre-applied.
If you're printing on paper- plastic sleeves are an economical way to protect finished prints. If you've decided to gallery wrap a canvas print, browse our stretcher bar offerings for the option that's right for you. Stretcher Bar Moulding is inexpensive, but necessitates costly tools and abundant space. Our EasyWrappe and EasyWrappe Pro systems allow anyone to make a gallery wrap in minutes with no tools and little training. Pre-notched Stretcher Bars fit in between the two in terms of speed and affordability.
