What happened to Vibrance Rag? I just got the email about the new Vibrance Baryta, which I'll be interested to try, but did this replace VRAG somehow? If so, I'd like to hear the comparison. I recently got around to testing my trial roll of VRAG and was in love with everything, but especially the surface texture. I don't imagine the Baryta paper will have a similar texture. I'll appreciate any updates and comparisons, thanks.

Well I've gotten my trial roll of Vibrance Baryta and as much as I wanted to try it, BC hasn't posted any support information. Surprised to find that, and a bit disappointed.
Please post the ICC profile and recommended media settings. Without these I won't waste the trial roll and can't imagine others are using the paper without it either. As much as I wanted to make BC's papers exclusively what I offer to customers, I'm back using Harman Baryta and the rest of them. VRag was discontinued and the critical tools for Baryta, its supposed replacement, aren't available.

Vibrance Rag has been discontinued and replaced by Vibrance Baryta. You're right, the surface texture on Baryta is not quite as prominent as it was on Rag. It does still have a very slight texture, though. The good thing about this slight decrease in surface texture is that it allowed us to get a great increase in print resolution. The prints I've seen on Baryta look really amazing. I'd really urge you to get a roll and test it out. If you have any other questions, feel free to let us know.
