Christopher Butler,

Does Anyone mount their own prints to masonite in house? If so, what are the basic steps and products you use to do so? Also, do you use temperer or untempered masonite boards? There seems to be a lot of debate online regarding this subject and it is quite confusing. Thanks in advance.

I?ve been mounting my prints to masonite for a while now. I have a vacuum press table which ensures no bubbles. I just use Sure Mount adhesive with a roller. Its a basic framers glue that is made for paper mounting, available at United Mfrs. Supply. I use it for canvas mounting also, works fine. The glue is acid free and water soluble, if you ever need to de-laminate.

Terry Lawrence,
Have you had any success yet in finding a good way to do this? I am doing the same thing and have gone through any number of glues, adhesives, etc. and would like info from someone else who has had long term success. I just bought the Glamour II and am using that, but not sure how successful it will be.
