Charles Brackett,

I want to print on colored paper, typically posterboard that is already hard colored. How can I get even a reasonable color profile with which to print. I own a ColorMunki. None of the signs I am printing contain white or other low saturation colors.

If you want the profile to compensate for the color of the paper, then simply print your profiling chart on to that paper and measure it and create the profile.

On the other hand, if you don't want to compensate for the paper color, I would suggest finding an un-colored version of the same substrate and create your profile from that.

We don't have any experience dealing with colored surfaces, so hopefully someone from the community can help you with an answer...
