Gordon Calhoun,

I love using Crystalline Glossy Canvas and framing with Canvox. The problem is that the paper does not stick to the Crystalline Canvas and I have several pieces that look awful. Expensive mistake. Is there a work-around or can we not use Canvox and Crystalline?

Hi Gordon,

I'm sorry you're experiencing some issues with the Canvox and Crystalline. Unfortunately, all glossy canvas will often have a more difficult time with adhesion. I think we can provide you with some insight on how to make this work, though; read on!

Here's what I recommend that you try: take some of the archival glue that is used to adhere the Canvox MDF board to the frame and use some of that glue in conjunction with the adhesive strips already on the MDF board. After you have a thin line of glue on all four edges of the board and have the edges of the print folded over, apply some pressure to help the glue adhere (this shouldn't take longer than a few minutes to get a decent hold.) Let the mounted print dry for 10 minutes or so before mounting it onto the frame.

I hope this helps. If not, please reach back out to us and we will try and come up with some more creative ideas to get this problem solved for you.

Have a wonderful weekend.
