Fine Art Inkjet Canvas

If you are a giclee printing photographer, print studio, or photo lab - you have found the right place. Breathing Color manufactures several types of inkjet canvas, all of which are proprietary and exclusive to our brand. And, we sell them direct to you - the end user. This unique business model allows our customers to take advantage of the highest quality at competitive prices.

Our latest innovation is the brand new Lyve Canvas. "Unleashed" in May 2009 under the bold mantra "Go Live with Lyve", this canvas is unmistakably in a class of its own. Lyve delivers a quantum leap in dmax, color gamut and overall print quality, and promises to forever change fine art by expanding the standard perceptions of what is possible. With critical archival certification, Lyve was designed for the discerning artist or photographer whose aim is to be the best in their field. This canvas was also engineered for hassle-free lamination and comes with an Archival Quality Certificate.

Breathing Color became a worldwide icon due to the success of our award-winning Chromata White Canvas, an optical-brightener free, museum-grade matte poly cotton blend that is a stand-alone performance leader in dmax (black density), color gamut, and print permanence. Released in June 2005, this canvas also comes with an Archival Quality Certificate.

Breathing Color also offers the Economize 800M Canvaswhich is a lower cost alternative to our Chromata White Canvas. Ecoonomize 800M is very popular within the décor and photo-on-canvas markets where long-term print permanence is not essential, but exceptional printed image quality is.

The intricate process of designing, manufacturing, and supplying inkjet fine art canvas is a form of art in and of itself. There are so many factors and variables that makes it a very difficult business - much more difficult than designing fine art papers. It is for this reason that less than a handful of fine art canvas designers and manufacturers are even in business today. Therefore, most of what you find on the market are outdated canvases which have been private-labeled by large and small companies alike, and each come with their own set of problems. Some dont print well which results in muted colors and substandard prints, some crack when stretched over frames, and some have trouble with roll-to-roll consistency. We at Breathing Color set out from the beginning to solve these problems and provide a clear solution for the industry.

We encourage you try a roll of our Chromata White Canvas or Economize 800M Canvas to capture the unique experience of Breathing Color. Give us a call at 1-866-722-6567 and speak with one of our media specialists, or send us an email, and allow us to pair you with the right products and make them work for your business.

Keep in mind that we always have additional inkjet canvas options and solvent canvas that are not offerred on our website yet. For more information please contact us.
