Chromata White Glossy Inkjet Canvas

Brilliance™ Chromata White Glossy Canvas is a water-resistant, textured, bright white, consistent poly-cotton blend glossy inkjet canvas. It was specifically created as result of the astounding success of our flagship Brilliance Chromata White Matte Canvas, and to serve the needs of printmakers who require extreme color accuracy, black density, and color gamut. It is the only instant-drying glossy inkjet canvas on the market today that can be coated with a water-based post-print protective coating, such as our Glamour II Veneer(HVLP, roll coating machines only - no hand rolling. Solvent spray cans are also compatible), without any cracking whatsoever. Brilliance™ Chromata White Glossy Canvas is compatible with both photo black and matte black inks.

Brilliance Chromata White is an award-winning line of inkjet canvas that has garnered industry-wide recognition for producing extraordinarily high dmax and color gamut, but most importantly for delivering roll to roll consistency. "Chromata White" is an optical brightener additive-free and fluorescent whitening agent-free breakthrough technology that gives the end-user the most stable platform on which to print photographs and fine art works without the metamerism issues or color shift issues inherent on other canvases. Optical Brighteners compromise the attainment of true color, they complicate profiling accuracy, and they inevitably deteriorate and yellow over time.

Without any post-print protective coating, this glossy inkjet canvas boasts a dmax value (black density) of over 2.0. When post-coated with our water-based and/or solvent-based Glamour II Veneer, Brilliance™ Chromata White Glossy Canvas achieves an absolutely untouchable black density of over 2.20. Compatible with both water-based and solvent-based post print protective coatings, this glossy inkjet canvas is extraordinarily friendly to high volume production environments (click here to see a video demonstration and for further information on Glamour II). If coated with Glamour II, this canvas will not crack even under extremely rigorous stretching conditions.

* Brilliance "Chromata White" Canvas can be adhered to just about any surface (such as masonite board) by simply applying Glamour II Veneer coating onto the underneath surface of the canvas. Today, Glamour II is commonly used as a very effective mounting adhesive for those who prefer not to stretch canvas prints. In addtion to all Epson printers, Brilliance™ Chromata White is also suited for all Roland printers, including the Eco-Sol printers using Eco-sol ink as well as the Roland's new "Max" ink.
