BREATHING COLOR™ RELEASES REVOLUTIONARY FINE ART PAPER AND CANVAS
NEWPORT BEACH, CA – Breathing Color™, manufacturer and distributor of inkjet products and technology, has just released a fine art paper and canvas with acid free coatings that render the highest known Dmax values currently on the market, and show a very high resistance to scuffing and flaking.
Dmax refers to the highest density of black that can be created on a specific paper or canvas. The higher the Dmax value, the deeper the level of black that can be created. Marketed under the names Elegance™ Fine Art Paper and Brilliance™ Fine Art Canvas, the products have Dmax values of 1.70 and 1.50, respectively.
In addition to the 100% cotton fiber, acid and lignin free base paper and canvas materials, the inkjet receptive coatings are also acid free and pH neutral. This rare feature contributes to a significant increase in the longevity/archivability of these substrates.
Another advanced feature is their durability and resistance to scuffing, a common problem experienced with many of the Fine Art Papers and Canvas on the market today.
Elegance™ Fine Art Paper is made from 100% cotton fiber and is acid and lignin free. It is a true
mouldmade paper that is stronger and more dimensionally stable for embossing. It has a vellum cold-press
surface, a very high white point, and an exceptional ink load capacity. Elegance™ Fine Art
Paper is water-resistant and instant drying.
Brilliance™ Fine Art Canvas is a 100% cotton based, bright white, luxurious artist-grade canvas. It is water-resistant and instant drying.
Pigment, Dye, and especially Epson UltraChrome inks can be used to achieve tremendous results with these products.
