Orange, Calif. – (BUSINESS WIRE) – JANUARY 25, 2008 – On October 16th, 2007, Breathing Color, Inc. of Orange, CA made a charitable donation to the College of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University. Founded in 1905, the School of Art at Carnegie Mellon was the first comprehensive arts learning institution in the United States and produces some of the world’s most outstanding artists, architects, designers, theater artists and musicians. The donation went directly to The School of Art in the form art inkjet papers and canvas, valued at $8,298.00. The inkjet canvas and papers will be available for students to learn skills and gain experience with fine art inkjet printmaking and prepare them for their post-collegiate lives as artists. Breathing Color and Carnegie Mellon University expect that this donation will directly benefit over 2000 students in the School of Art. A representative of the university stated, “Breathing Color, Inc.’s support of Carnegie Mellon and our faculty, staff and students is greatly appreciated.
