Epson 7880 Dual Black Feature
in the Stylus Pro Series

The Epson Stylus Pro 7880 and series of printers from Epson include a unique and convenient feature in the dual black ink system. This system allows for two user-exchangeable black ink modes. The Epson 7880 Ultrachrome K3 ink, along with the Ultrachrome K3 ink with vivid magenta use two distinct black ink modes to fully optimize the density of black ink for a variety of media types. With these two ink styles, artists have the opportunity to optimize their prints using the most advanced technology in black ink printing available.

With the Epson Stylus Pro 7880 printers comes a standard photo black ink mode that can be used with any media type and produces extremely professional results. For more advanced results that feature dramatically improved black optical density and print quality, it is recommended that such media types as Velvet Fine Art, Enhanced Matte and Ultra Smooth Fine Art are used.

The Epson 7880 dual black ink feature will produce amazing archival prints with outstanding color fidelity, gloss level and scratch resistance. No other ink on the market performs like Epson’s and the results will be clear after using this technology. Inferior ink products are simply outperformed by Epson and the difference is clear. With the two distinct ink types, artists will be able to diversify the quality of their prints and are insured a product that is guaranteed to last.
