I am running into problems stretching canvas, and then putting them under high temperature lights and having the canvas sag. Is there a solution to this problem?

Since all canvases are very breathable, they are prone to a number of atmospheric variables. High relative humidity in a room, combined with hot temperatures can change the structure of your canvas. However there are solutions to this problem, one of which that is very effective, would be to take an already stretched print and spray the back of the print with distilled water. Make sure when you apply the water you are not soaking it, just enough to moisten it. Since the canvas is made of cotton, it should shrink causing it to become taught once again. You also may want to go through this process possibly more than once depending on how hot the lights really are.
